Manchester City are considering selling their star-midfielder, Yaya Toure, after a tough start to the new season.

The 31-year-old, who was pivotal in last season’s title win, has struggled to keep up with the pace this season, and was sent off during the Champions League game with CSKA Moscow after an off-the-ball incident.

During the Summer, Toure was on the brink of leaving the Etihad, with Paris Saint-Germain interested, but he made a U-turn and decided to stay with City instead, despite the lack of a birthday cake on his birthday.

However, according to reports, City are now ready to lose the powerhouse midfielder, with PSG and FC Barcelona set to be alerted by his availability.

As well as the overseas clubs, City’s Premier League rivals, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal, are all considering interested as well.

Toure, who sits on a contract worth ÂŁ210k-a-week, cost City ÂŁ24million back in 2010 and could end his four-year stay as Manuel Pellegrini looks at potential midfield replacements.

On that list are; Ross Barkley, Paul Pogba and Marco Reus.
