Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing THREE of Liverpool’s top stars with Philippe Coutinho the latest to be linked.
The Citizens are expected to be busy over the Summer after a dismal, trophyless season under Manuel Pellegrini, and with new regulations coming in about homegrown players, officials at City are desperate for the club to sign English players.
That has linked them with signing Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere, but after Arsene Wenger rubbished reports of a move earlier today in his press conference, City may have to look elsewhere.
Pellegrini is interested in bringing three Liverpool stars to the Etihad, including Coutinho, Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling.
The latter duo are currently rejecting contracts from The Reds and could be set for shock Summer exits.
It’s believed City are prepared to pay £50million for Sterling and £20m each for Henderson and Coutinho.
