Manchester City hold Paul Pogba talks

Manchester City have held secret talks with Juventus star, Paul Pogba, according to reports.

The Frenchman has been strongly linked with a move away from Serie A for the past two seasons now, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona all interested in signing the powerhouse.

However, according to reports, officials from Manchester City have moved ahead of their Premier League and European rivals by holding secret talks with Pogba and his representatives.

Pogba ended all speculation over the Summer by signing a new long-term deal at Juve, but since then, Juve’s president has admitted that the club may be forced to sell their big-named stars due to the league not being prestigious enough.

The Serie A isn’t considered as bright and competitive as the Premier League or La Liga, and Pogba could be swayed by a big-money move either back to England or across to Spain.

According to reports, Juve would want at least ÂŁ55million for the Frenchman, but a transfer is unlikely to take place in January, and will happen next Summer.

It’s believed Mino Raiola, Pogba’s agent, has been in discussions with City and has told the club that his client would be interested in making the move ahead of next season in order to further his career.
