Manchester City could make a £30million bid for Real Madrid star Sami Khedira next Summer in order to strengthen their already-packed midfield.
The Citizens signed Fernandinho for £35million in this year’s Summer window, but it appears that Manuel Pellegrini is still less than impressed with his side’s squad and he could look back to Spain once again in order to add talent.
Khedira, who has 20-months left on his current contract, has become a key figure both for club and country and it is believed that Madrid would want at least £30million for the German, which is a price-tag that City are prepared to meet.
Not only are they prepared to offer that much for the transfer fee, they are also prepared to offer him more money than what Madrid are offering him, despite the club president preparing to offer him a £3m-a-year contract.
It is also believed that Chelsea are also interested in the centre-midfielder.
