According to reports, Manchester City are eager to sign Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco. Isco has fallen down the pecking order ever since Santiago Solari became the manager of Real Madrid. Durng Solari’s spell so far, Isco has only started in only two matches. They are Real’s worst Champions League home defeat of 0-3 against CSKA Moscow and their Copa Del Ray match against third-tier team Melilla.
Due to the lack of game time, Isco himself might prefer a move away from the Bernabeu. Manchester City are eager to rope Isco in but Real Madrid President Florentino Perez wants a fee more than that of Cristiano Ronaldo’s when he left for Juventus.
This is not the first time Manchester City have shown interest in the 26-year old. City were showed interest in Isco in 2013 when he was playing for Malaga. However, Isco joined Real Madrid on a transfer fee of €30 million.
Given Isco’s current stature in world football and the fact that there are four years remaining on his current contract, Real Madrid may earn a good amount by selling Isco.
