Reports today are claiming The Red Devils are now preparing to pip Chelsea’s transfer of Romelu Lukaku.
Manchester United have apparently agreed a £75m fee with Everton for star striker Romelu Lukaku, according to mainstream media reports.
It’s also being said that Antonio Conte has told the Chelsea board to pay whatever it takes to land Lukaku , However, United look to have pipped their Premier League rivals.
The 24-year-old appeared set to rejoin former club Chelsea this summer, but it is understood he is now on the verge of linking up with the manager that sold him in 2014.
United boss Jose Mourinho has been desperate to bring in a striker this summer and a move for Lukaku is now close, having agreed a fee in the region of £75million with Everton.
