Wantaway Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is set to join Napoli on loan for the season, according to reports from Italian newspaper Gazzetto dello Sport.
The Italian club have agreed a £4M deal for Fellaini, who has endured a nightmare time at Old Trafford since joining last summer from Everton.
At this stage of the transfer window, with just two weeks remaining, there is a sizeable lack of decent midfield enforcers available for a fair price.
After again disappointing after coming on as a sub in Saturday’s loss to Swansea, it appears the afro-haired midfielder’s time with the Red Devils Iis at an end.
Napoli are allowed to register one more player for their Champions League, and manager Rafa Benitez is targeting Fellaini for that spot.
