It is reported that Manchester United have made a £28.25m offer for Porto full-back Danilo.
A Catalan newspaper have stated that Van Gaal’s side have launched a bid to sign him, the Brazilian has previously been closesly tracked by Spanish giants Barcelond and Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old has already played 11 times for Brazil and joined his current side Porto three years ago.
Danilo has a release clause of £37m written in to his contract but United are hoping to secure his signature for less.
