The winger who was recently representing Mexico in the ongoing World cup has caught eye of many European clubs. However the Mexico team failed to progres in the Quarter-finals when they were defeated by the 5-times World cup winners, Brazil.

The player is currently a part of the Dutch Club, PSV. Before PSV, the player used to play in the Mexican League for a club named Pachuka for 4-years from 2014 to 2017. He represented the club for more than 140 matches and was on the scoring sheet on 43 occasions, before heading to the dutch side PSV.

He was caught eyes of most of the European club when he started in the 3-0 defeat of the German side. Since then he was linked to the Spanish giants like Barcelona and Real Madrid, and now English side Arsenal has also joined the race for the 22 year old winger.

According to reports, Football finance expert Kieran Maguire believes that United will have to pay more than the £35 million price being mentioned.

He said, “Realistically you can add £10 million – £15 million to the price as they know United have deep pockets,”. He also said that, “You combine that with a good World Cup performance and you only have to look at what happened with James Rodriguez in the last World Cup.”

“You put those two things together and you’re talking in the £50 million to £60 million bracket. Where that leaves Martial and Rashford is another question.”

Mexico crashed out of the ongoing World cup after a loss at the hands of five time champions, Brazil.
