According to reports, Premier League side Manchester United could finally be close to agreeing a deal with Portuguese side Benfica for centre-back Ezequiel Garay.
The 27-year-old has been a long-term transfer interest for United, with both Sir Alex Ferguson and now David Moyes interested in his services, but it finally looks like they’ve made a breakthrough.
The Argentinian international is close to agreeing a deal with the Premier League champions, which will see him join the club in the Summer, this is according to newspapers in Portugal.
It is also believed that the English side will pay around £8million for his services and is seen as the replacement for Rio Ferdinand, who could be on his way out this Summer.
