Manchester United are in advanced talks with AC Milan regarding a potential deal for midfielder, Nigel De Jong.
The Red Devils were keen on signing the Dutchman over the Summer but nothing materialised and the hardman remained in Italy with the San Siro side.
However, due to their Dutch connections, Louis Van Gaal is still interested in signing the midfielder and could look to bring him in at the end of the season in order to harden up the United midfield.
According to reports in Italy, talks are ongoing for the 30-year-old and De Jong has already snubbed chances to move elsewhere.
