Manchester United’s horror transfer window continues as reports are coming in thet Turkish side Galatasaray rejected an ‘indirect offer’ for 29 year old playmaking midfielder Wesley Sneijder.

This is not the first time Sneijder has been linked with Manchester United, they came very close to signing the midfielder in the summer of 2011 in a deal worth ÂŁ35 million but puled out in the end because of his demand for ÂŁ200,000 a week.

It is now revealed that United revived their interest in the midfielder after D

Sporting co-ordinator Bulunt Tulun told Turkish newspaper Milliyet: ‘Sneijder received an indirect offer from Manchester United two weeks ago but it was not accepted. There are several clubs that want him but just like we can’t let go of Burak [Yilmaz] we also have to keep hold of Sneijder.’

Roma confirmed that United had made a ÂŁ12 million offer for Daniele De Rossi and Ed Woodward the chief executive of Manchester United pulled the plug on the ÂŁ30.5 million deal for Ander Herrera. Unfortunatly this was not the last fo it, United failed in bringing in German international Sami Khedira from Real Madrid with Khedira telling press ‘The club turned down the offer and that was it,’

‘We didn’t really have the chance to discuss it. I had a longer chat with Carlo Ancelotti a few weeks ago and it was relatively clear to me that I’d stay at Real. We (players) don’t have any influence in the high transfer fees. Real refused the offer of Manchester United and I’m happy with that.’
