Manchester United eye £40 million move for Brazilian star

Jose Mourinho has only one thing in mind right now – sign an attacking player who can help Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba. The job was handed to Juan Mata and Henrikh Mkhitaryan but they have failed to do any justice to it.

Now, reports in Goal.com claim that the Red Devils are plotting a move for Bordeaux star, Malcom. The 20-year-old Brazilian has been in sensational form this season and has attracted the attention of several European giants.

Manchester United are set to make their initial offer of £40 million in the coming days according to the report. The Ligue 1 side however are not interested in sell him.

Mourinho wants a deal done in January itself so that no one else beats them to him. Jose’s willing to sign him and loan him back for the rest of the season so that he can develop more.

Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal and Barcelona are said to be keeping tabs on him.
