Manchester United are looking at a deal to sign Barcelona defender Jordi Alba, according to The Daily Express.
Alba has slipped down the pecking order at Barcelona in recent weeks, following the emergance of Douglas, with United ready to swoop with a bid of around £25 million or so.
But should Louis Van Gaal prepare a bid for the Spanish international, United could face stiff competition from Arsenal.
The 25 year old is one of a host of current Barcelona players linked with an English move, after their Brazilian fullback Dani Alves also confirmed he will leave the Nou Camp.
It appears that Alba will to be on his way, the only question now is either United or Arsenal?
