Manchester United have been given the green-light to sign Atletico Madrid defender, Miranda, for a fee of £20million.
According to reports in Spain, Madrid believe if they can get £20m for the 30-year-old, that would be classed as good business, and they are hopeful they can push through the deal with United in January.
The Brazilian international has featured heavily for Atletico this season and is one of Diego Simeone’s key-men, but at 30-years-old, the club would be willing to sell if United meet the price-tag.
Chelsea have also shown interest in the centre-back, but have since looked elsewhere due to Miranda’s age, but United officials are confident that he can see through a four-year deal.
