Manchester United have been given a massive transfer boost after being given a clear path to sign Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.

Chelsea Football Club have cooled their interest in the Brazilian left-back due to his £60m price tag Juventus have given him according to The Telegraph. This has paved the way for Manchester United to complete the deal.

Sandro has long been a primary target for Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte and he was livid when the club didn’t sign him in the summer. But now, after Marcos Alonso’s fine form this season, the Chelsea’s hierarchy see little value in signing another left-back with such a hefty price tag.

And Sandro, 26, is believed to be keen on a move to the Premier League after reports of his unrest at Juventus and he is reportedly keen on a move to Manchester United now.

Manager Jose Mourinho is eager to sign a world-class left-back after Luke Shaw’s fitness troubles while make-shift left-back Ashley Young is ageing.

Mourinho has also been eyeing up Tottenham left-back Danny Rose but Sandro is reportedly now Jose Mourinho’s primary target.

The Portuguese boss wants to sign two full-backs and a creative midfielder with Mesut Ozil most recently being linked to Old Trafford.

Manchester United will reportedly double Sandro’s salary according to reports and it’s said he will oust Luke Shaw and Ashley Young as their first choice left-back.

Juventus have said it’s their club policy to not stand in the way if a player wants to leave their club. Sandro hasn’t handed in a transfer request yet but it’s believed he is keen to leave Turin.
