Red Devils are serious about re-signing forward
Manchester United have held talks with Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent regarding a potential shock move back to Old Trafford.
The Portuguese star has been reportedly leaving the Bernabeu for the past few seasons, but in recent weeks, fresh reports have emerged claiming he’s unhappy with life in Spain and life under Carlo Ancelotti.
The forward cut a disgruntled figure after his side lost 4-3 on the night to Schalke in the Champions League, and according to reports, his former club are already trying to strike a deal with his agent.
Jorge Mendes, one of the most powerful agents in football, is reportedly in talks with the Premier League outfit and the two parties are negotiating a possible deal which could see Ronaldo make the shock move back to England.
It’s believed United are hopeful an offer of around £71million could be enough to persuade Madrid to sell up, despite that being £9m short of what the Spanish giants paid to sign him in the first place.
