Manchester United are targeting Inter Milan starlet Fredy Guarin after Toni Kroos rejected a move to Old Trafford. United’s midfielders failed to perform in last season’s distressing season which saw them finish 7th and also not qualify for Europe.

Tom Cleverley has been continuously criticised after many poor performances and Darren Fletcher has broken his toe only months after returning from his long-term bowel problem. According to Italian reports, United could sign him for around £12 million as the Italian club is reportedly looking to sign a new central midfielder.
