Manchester United have launched a £27 million pound bid for Southampton left-back, Luke Shaw, according to Sky Sources.
The England youngster has been linked with United throughout the season, and it appears the club are willing to complete this deal before the World Cup starts.
Manchester United are still managerless , and visited Southampton today, drawing 1-1 at St Mary’s. It appears that current left-back Patrice Evra may have played his last game for the club, and it seems that United see Shaw as a perfect replacement for the frenchman.
Shaw was recently shortlisted for the young player of the year award and has had an impressive season for Southampton as he has high hopes to play for England in the World Cup this summer.
