Manchester United Players Want Paul Pogba To Extend His Contract

Manchester United are not entirely sold on the idea of letting Paul Pogba go.

His contract is due to end in another year and there have been talks of extending his deal.

There is no hiding from the fact that the Frenchman is unhappy at Old Trafford. He wanted to depart last summer but United did not entertain any offers for him. Ole Solskjaer still sees him as an important part of his midfield.

Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola could secure a move for his client after this season but it all could depend on the midfield. According to sources of The Sun, his Manchester United teammates want him to stay.

An insider told Sun, “Paul may be regarded with suspicion by a lot of the fanbase because of his agent courting other clubs, but there is no doubt where the players stand with him.

“They recognise he is one of the team’s stars and he is as desperate as they are for the club to be successful again. He is well-liked by all his team-mates and no one wants him to leave.

“But they also understand if a player is unhappy, it usually leads to his departure. They all hope he will start the next season at Old Trafford.”
