Blues want Valencia star to replace Eden Hazard

Manchester United are set to enter the race for Valencia winger Sofiane Feghouli, according to reports.

The Algerian wide-man is wanted by both United and Chelsea, with the latter planning on signing him as a suitable replacement for outgoing Eden Hazard, with the Belgium expected to leave in the summer.

Feghouli will become a free-agent next summer as it stands, with his contract expiring at the end of the season, and with interest shown in him from the Premier League, he may opt to quit Valencia on a free.

Free Agent or Cheap Deal

Due to the Bosman Rule, both United and Chelsea can hold formal talks with the 25-year-old in the New Year, and could also get him to agree to a pre-contract before officially joining in July.

However, because of his contract situation, Valencia may look to sell him in January, meaning the English duo could get him for a reduced price.

A price-tag going around could be as little as £2million due to his contract situation.

Feghouli is a pacy winger who netted six goals in 33 competitions last season.
