Manchester United are quickly pursuing a transfer move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Blaise Matuidi, after finding out they are ready to let him go for just £25.5million.
The 29-year-old is ready to consider his future after a short break following France’s Euro 2016 final defeat to Portugal, with new PSG manager Unai Emery ready to let him fulfil his dreams to play in the Premier League.
The Red Devils are the bookies favourites to sign the France international for just £25.5million, according to publication Get French Football News.
United are also continuing to chase the signature of Matuidi’s international team-mate Paul Pogba for a fee up to £100m and rumours circling Old Trafford suggests that Mourinho wants both players in his starting 11 next season.
Matuidi clarified that he did not want to talk about a possible transfer move while the European Championship was still running, but now that it has come to a close it is only a matter of time before the French star has to make a decision on his final destination.
