Manchester United have reportedly shown interest in signing Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina.
The Red Devils have been in search of a top class defender this season.
Manchester United are reportedly interested in the Serbian ace Nikola Milenkovic, who has been in decent form this season for the Italian club Fiorentina. The player has been on the radar of a number of top clubs but the Red Devils are reportedly leading the race to land the Serbian international.
The Red Devils have been bogged down on a number of occasions this season due to the lack of depth in their defence which has seen them lose a number of matches this season. Though they have bounced back to winning ways and are in good form of late, a player like Milenkovic can be a very good addition to their defensive lineup and could help them solidify their backline for the rest of the season.
As per reports by The Mirror, Milenkovic is red hot on the radar of the Red Devils and Ed Woodward is set to make a move for the Serbian international but might have to face stiff competition from Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool. The player has been reportedly rated at £45million by the Serie A club and could be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first signing of the season.
