David De Gea has put his £3.85million mansion up for sale, with Real Madrid stepping up their interest in the Manchester United star, according to reports.
De Gea has put his Manchester house up on the market just months before the summer transfer window opens.
The Spain international has been highly courted by Real Madrid in recent weeks, and indeed over the last few seasons.
And recent reports have been suggesting that Manchester United are willing to sell to the La Liga giants in the summer, for the right price.
Reports in Spain have been linking De Gea and Chelsea ‘keeper Thibaut Cortious over the last couple of seasons, and it is now believed the Spanish giants are stepping up their pursuit of one of the two options.
While De Gea nor his manager Jose Mourinho have not recently made any comment regarding his future, reports have suggested that United would agree to sell their first choice keeper if the right kind of offer came in for his services.
Madrid did however come agonisingly close to signing De Gea in 2015 only for the two clubs to fail and register the deal before the transfer deadline shut – reportedly due to a late fax. (yes, fax, we know.)
