Manchester United targetr Antoine Greizmann has responded to rumors linking him with a move to Old Trafford.
The Frenchman’s blistering form has resulted in him being linked with a move from Atletico Madrid for quite some time, with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United often sited as a likely destination should he choose to leave Spain.
The striker has been the recipient of praise throughout the footballing world for his formidable form ever since the Euro’s, and has attracted interest from some of the biggest clubs in world football.
But speaking to La1, Greizmann suggested that there is no reason that he would want to leave Madrid.
‘I always get the same questions about my future and it is getting a bit tiresome,’ Griezmann told La1.
‘Like I always say, I am very happy here at Atletico and in Madrid.
‘The weather is great, my team-mates are some of the best you can have and I am working with a great coach.
‘So I am feeling very well here. I see no reason why I would want to leave.’
The 25-year-old has certainly been a target for some of Europe’s biggest clubs, but these latest comments suggest that he may not be leaving Madrid as soon as first thought.
