Big blow for Jose Mourinho
Manchester United target Andrea Belotti is set to sign a contract extension at Torino- with a whopping £80million buyout clause.
Belotti, 22, is currently the joint-top goalscorer in La Liga, and Torino are desperately keen to hold onto him despite United’s interests.
Arsenal made a £30million bid for the striker this summer, while Claudio Ranieri at Leicester is also thought to be interested. But the big links have been made with Jose Mourinho’s side.
Now Torino have moved to offer a new £1.3m-a-year deal with Belotti until 2021 – with the record buy-out clause which only applies to foreign clubs. Gazzetta dello Sport reports the new contract will be signed this week.
