According to reports, Manchester United will make a formal move for Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale, in January and are prepared to pay £90million for the Welshman.

Bale, who left Tottenham Hotspur to join Madrid in a record-breaking deal worth £85m, has been a real success in Spain, but due to recent injuries, his first-team spot has come under threat from Spaniard, Isco, and with United prepared to offer a staggering fee, a sale could surprisingly take place.

It’s believed that Madrid are keen to sign Premier League duo; Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling, and they may look to sell Bale and Karim Benzema in order to raise the funds for the Manchester City and Liverpool stars.

As well as those two, Madrid are also still keen on Chelsea’s, Eden Hazard, and if they were to sell Bale to United, they could make another move for the Belgium, whom they chased over the Summer without success.

When questioned about Bale’s future, a Spanish specialist admitted that interest from United is there, but a deal doesn’t look likely.

“You cannot stop Manchester United aspiring to sign Gareth Bale,” he said.

“They (Man Utd) have the budget, they tried to sign him, he turned them down when joining Real Madrid. It will not happen unless he goes to Real Madrid and says: ‘Me and my family are not happy here.'”
