Ed Woodward wants to complete ‘dream transfer’

Manchester United want to sign Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard, according to reports.

The Belgium international is reportedly fed up with life at Chelsea and also with life in the Premier League, sparking speculation that he’s set for a move to Real Madrid next summer.

Some reports have claimed the midfielder has told his family and friends that he’s ready to leave England and wants to force a move through to the La Liga giants next summer.

Those claims were then backed up be Belgian boss Marc Wilmots stating he wishes Hazard would leave Stamford Bridge, which was met with an angry response from Jose Mourinho.

Eden to United?

However, reports this morning have emerged and claimed that Ed Woodward wants to make an ambitious bid for the out-of-form star.

After winning PFA Player of the Year last year during Chelsea’s title-winning campaign, a lot was expected from Hazard this season, but so far, him and his team-mates have fallen way short and sit 15th in the Premier League table after 10 games.

Real Madrid are firm favourites to land Hazard next summer if he does in fact leave Chelsea, but Woodward is desperate to land a marquee signing for United, and Hazard is one of his targets.
