Manchester United told to pay £45 million to sign Premier League defender

Manchester United are on the hunt for a left-back and have already made a shortlist. The #1 name on that list is reportedly Danny Rose – a player they tried to sign in the summer.

The Tottenham defender made stunning comments about the club and his future there just before the season started and was on the verge of being sent to the reserves. But Mauricio Pochettino decided to give him one more chance in the team and played him in a few games.

However, with the Englishman still interested in moving away from the club, they have decided to cash-in on him. The full-back is available for £45 million according to reports in the Daily Star.

Jose Mourinho is keen on signing and has asked the board to start negotiations with Spurs. With the price set at £45 million, the Red Devils are planning to make a cash + player bid for him.

Luke Shaw, who’s fallen out of favor at United, is said to be the player who Mourinho is willing to give in the deal to land Danny Rose.
