United to use Adnan Januzaj to secure German
Manchester United want to sign Marco Reus from Borussia Dortmund next summer in the hope that they will accept Adnan Januzaj moving in the opposite direction.
The Belgium winger is set to spend a season-long loan in Germany with Dortmund, and officials at United want to make it a permanent move next year as long as they can get Reus in return.
Reus has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs over the past year, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all strongly linked with signing him from Dortmund.
Januzaj For Reus
However, the midfielder has so far snubbed interest from England in order to remain with the Bundesliga outfit.
The thought around Old Trafford is that if Januzaj impresses during his temporary move in Germany, they could offer him permanently but with Reus coming in the opposite direction.
As it stands, Louis van Gaal does see a future for Januzaj at United, but if the chance to sign Reus comes up, they will be willing to explore the options.
