The France International has been linked with a summer exit
Anthony Martial joined Manchester United from Monaco for £36 million, potentially rising to £58 million, on a four-year contract with the option of another year in in 2015. He has established himself as one of the best youth prospects in the World since moving to England.
The 22 year old was a regular for the team in the first half of the season and one of the outstanding players. But since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January, the forward has struggled for a regular run in the team and failed to impress in recent games.
Jose Mourinho has grown frustrated with the France International who has been linked with a summer exit. Chelsea are one of the clubs who have shown strong interest him ahead of the transfer window.
Manchester United are willing to let Anthony Martial join Chelsea, but only if the Blues offer Willian and £40 million, reports the Mirror.
Mourinho is a big admirer of the 29 year old who he has previously worked with Chelsea. He wanted to sign him last summer but a deal never went through but the Red Devils are still linked with him.
The Portuguese manager is planning a sensational swap deal involving Martial and Willian. He values the Frenchman at £80 million and wants the Brazilian, who he values at £40 million, plus an additional £40 million in cash.
The Blue’s are likely to put this deal on hold until they sort out their Managerial situation. But if Roman Abramovich believes that the swap is a good deal he may give green signal regardless of the managerial situation.
