Mourinho is unhappy with Pogba

Manchester United are planning to sell their record signing French midfielder Paul Pogba this summer according to Sunday Mirror.

Pogba started this season off brilliantly being an integral part of United’s impressive performances but got injured midway through the season. Since he came back from injury, his form  has dipped a lot. With Mourinho even benching him and starting Scott McTominay ahead of him in important games. And Pogba is believed to have been told to rein in his social media activity and concentrate on delivering the high-level performances they know he is capable of.

Now it’s being reported that Mourinho has lost his patience with him and looking to sell the player in the summer. Giants like Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain remain interested in signing him.

Mourinho at least targeting one major trophy next season and already planning to overhaul his squad in the summer He is already planning a mass exodus where as many as 10 players could be sold. It’s also reported that the money United will receive by selling Pogba, will be utilized in buying at least 4 superstars  to make United back among Europe’s top elite.

With a £200 million budget according to reports, the top duo on Mourinho’s hit list are Bernabeu stars Raphael Varane and Toni Kroos as Mourinho looks to import quality into defence and midfield. His back-up plan would be PSG pair Marquinhos and Marco Verratti, with £45m Juventus left-back Alex Sandro eyed as a solution to United’s problems with Luke Shaw.

Paul Pogba returned to Manchester United from Juventus on a 5 year contract for a then record highest football transfer fee £ 89.3 million in 2016.
