Diego Maradona feels Jose Mourinho is a better manager than Pep Guardiola.
Mourinho is yet to show his supremacy over Guardiola in the Premier League as so far the Spanish manager has the upper hands in this competition. Both the manager has won a lot of trophies but Guardiola has earned the plaudits mostly while Mourinho has been the controversial manager among the two.
The two stalwarts recently came face to face when Manchester City hosted Manchester United in the Manchester Derby last Sunday. The stage was set and the Red Devils had the perfect chance to conquer the Etihad stadium.
But Guardiola once again came out as the winner as his side dominated in the 3-1 win over their crosstown rivals.
Maradona is so impressed by Mourinho’s coaching strategy that he is planning to go to Manchester to have a look at Mourinho’s training session. “I, as a coach, still have a lot to learn.
“That is why I will go a week to Manchester to see Mourinho train and to ask him a lot of things.”
“Because he is the best, without a doubt.”

“I give Pep credit for making the most of what Johan Cruyff left.
“Guardiola did not invent the tiki-taka — a style of play characterised by maintaining possession with short passing and movement. The tiki-taka was created by Cruyff. Only that now Pep can choose any player in the world he wants so the tiki-taka is easier that way.”
