Marcelo would love Neymar joining Real Madrid

The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a summer exit

Neymar joined Paris Saint- Germain form Barcelona for a world record fee of €222 million last August. The Brazilian joined the La Liga giants in 2013 and enjoyed a successful period their but decided to leave as he wanted to operate more independently.

The 26 year old was in excellent form for the Ligue 1 giants, scoring 28 goals and assisting 16 from 30 appearances before suffering a foot injury. He went to Brazil for his recovery and returned to Paris last week to begin his final recovery.

But according to recent reports in France the Forward has been less than satisfied with life in Paris despite spending less than a year in the French Capital. He has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, who have been interested in him for a long time.

La Liga giants are expected to bolster their side this summer and could move for the Brazil International if he decides to leave the Ligue 1 giants. Zinedine Zidane recently claimed that Neymar would be compatible with Cristiano Ronaldo and could play in the same team.

Marcelo has further intensified the speculations by saying that he would love to play with his national teammate at Real Madrid.

The best come to Madrid and I would love to play with Neymar,” he said after playing his 450th game for the club in a 6-0 thrashing of Celta Vigo .

“When I talk to Neymar, I’m not talking about Real Madrid or leaving PSG.”

Both of them are set to combine together in the World Cup but the left-back claimed that their focus would be on the showpiece event, not transfer talk.

“We will be in Russia to play something very important,” he said.

“We will not be talking about signings. We will be representing our country.”
