Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus looks set to reject moves to Arsenal and Manchester United to join Chelsea, according to reports.

The German ace has a ÂŁ19.75m release clause in his contract which becomes active in the summer, and talks between the player and Dortmund over a new contract have stalled.

Arsenal have been linked with Reus for the last couple of transfer windows and were reportedly ready to make a bid in January.

But according to a source close to the player, he is uncertain that his personal ambitions could be fulfilled at Arsenal and is more open towards a move to Stamford Bridge instead.

“Marco is keen to win titles and he isn’t sure that will happen at Arsenal.”

The player himself hasn’t ruled out staying at Dortmund yet, and could end up staying in Germany anyways with Bayern Munich keen on him as well.

Chelsea are considering offering Andre Schurrle in a straight swap deal and could open talks as early as January.

Reus has been out with an ankle injury recently but if he is to move on Dortmund will have to decide whether to keep him for the rest of the season and allow the release clause to become active, or try and get a higher price in January.
