Winger’s representatives rules out move away

Marco Reus will be staying at Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to his representatives.

The 26-year-old winger has once again been heavily linked with a move away from the Bundesliga, with Arsenal and Liverpool keen from England, and Real Madrid interested from Spain.

Despite the heavy interest from across Europe, Reus has recently decided to stay put in Germany and wants to remain with Dortmund.

According to recent reports, both Arsenal and Liverpool were preparing to launch ÂŁ48million bids for the German international, but according to his representatives, the interest is flattering, but not enough to convince him to leave.

Reus Staying Put

They told TuttoJuve: “We read the rumours that are circulating about an alleged transfer for Marco.

“We can say with certainty that the player is having a wonderful time at Borussia and is flattered by the interest of many European teams, but recently decided to stay in Dortmund.”

Previous Interest

Reus was very close to joining Arsenal last summer as a deal was agreed between the two clubs, but a serious injury picked up near the end of the season ruined the move and made The Gunners sign Alexis Sanchez instead.
