Borussia Dortmund star ready to snub English trio

Premier League sides are set to be disappointed with the news that Marco Reus wants a move to Real Madrid.

The Borussia Dortmund star has been a long-term target of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool, but according to reports this morning, the German has chosen a move to Madrid.

A massive ÂŁ46million bid was expected to be launched by Liverpool after they cashed in on Raheem Sterling, selling him to Manchester City for ÂŁ49m, but the latest reports have knocked them back in their pursuit.

Reus Wants Madrid

According to the Liverpool Echo, Reus has his heart set on a move to Spain with the La Liga giants, and he’s set to open formal talks with them over the next few weeks.

Despite the competition for places at Madrid, with Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo deploying the wings, Reus is desperate for a move to the Bernabeu.

Reus has been expected to leave Dortmund over the past year or so, but injuries prevented a move away last year, with Arsenal close to signing him.

However, back fit, Reus is now ready to join Jurgen Klopp out of the Dortmund door and is only eyeing a move to Madrid.

Chelsea and FC Barcelona have also shown interest in the German winger over the years.
