Everton boss Marco Silva has revealed his game plan ahead of their visit to the Old Trafford insisting they have their own way to cope up with the threat of Manchester United.
Everton will be looking to stamp their authority at the fortress of the Red Devils which has already been breached a number of times this season. The arrival of Silva has ensured the continuity of positive attacking intent which has been the reason behind the uplift of the team.
United looked clueless at times and Silva definitely will fancy his chances against the Premier League giants. The gaffer who is a very close friend of the United manager Jose Mourinho would love to get the better of the Portuguese who is under immense pressure to deliver.
Silva said, “The players have known since the first day [of Silva’s reign], that this is our way, it is our ambition as a club [to win every game]
“If you are working in a club like Everton, with a great history, you have to think and prepare in this way.
“We know Manchester United could obligate us to do different things because they are a very good team, with a very good manager, and we will see what the result is afterwards.
“But our objective will be the same [as always] – to prepare for the game and have a plan to win the match.”
