Marco Verratti’s agent has claimed that the midfielder would be open to leave Paris Saint-Germain if the club do not win something ‘important’.
The 23-year-old has quickly become a fan-favourite at the Parc des Princes and has recently been linked with a host of top clubs across Europe including Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Verratti only signed a new five-year deal with the French giants in August but his agent has claimed that the Italy international will be looking for a way out sooner rather than later if they club fail to ‘win something important’.
In an interview with So Foot, Donato Di Campli said: “We are obviously pleased with the confidence that PSG firmly believe in Marco,”
“His deal no runs until 2021 but the contracts are made and unmade in three minutes.
“We’ll see PSG’s aims, Marco is happy to be there but he wants to win something important.
“He cannot stay in a team that does not win.
“It’s a matter of motivation.
“Occasionally, you have to try new adventures, not now because we want to stay as long as possible but will come a day when it will face this discussion.” he added.
