Sporting Libon defender Marcos Rojo has told Premier League clubs that he will only move this summer for the right money.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Southampton are all chasing the 24-year-old, who impressed at the World Cup by helping Argentina reach the final in Brazil. Because of this, he has been strongly linked with several Premier League moves, with the Saints being the newcomers in the race. A bid of ÂŁ11million from St. Marys has reportedly already been rejected, with Lisbon holding out for a figure more like ÂŁ16million.

And Rojo has given the Premier League quartet a boost after claiming he would consider a move, but only for a significant wage rise.

Talking about a possible move this summer, Rojo said: “Everyone has a price.

“If a good deal arrives, then I’m sure I will sit down with the club and evaluate things.”

Rojo was in fine form for Sporting Lisbon last season, getting on the scoresheet six times as the club finished runners up in the Primeira Liga.
