Midfielder’s agent refuses to rule out anything

Bayern Munich midfielder Mario Gotze may leave the club in the future, according to his agent.

It’s well documented that Gotze doesn’t have the greatest relationship with Pep Guardiola due to lack of first-team football, and with Arsenal and Manchester United interested, the World Cup winner could seek a transfer away.

Gotze completed a shock move from Borussia Dortmund to Munich two years ago, following in Robert Lewandowski‘s footsteps, but unlike the Pole, he has failed to impress at the Allianz Arena.

Gotze’s agent Volker Struth has given a recent interview, and he’s admitted that there is a strong chance that the midfielder could leave the club following the breakdown of his relationship with Guardiola.

Agent Speaks

He told Tuttosport: “Mario has made it clear that his last two seasons have not been idyllic.

“However, it’s also true that no club has come forward with an offer. Bayern have not ruled out a possible transfer, just as we won’t rule out any possible opportunity, to stay or go abroad.”

“There’s still a long way to go until the end of the transfer window, so anything can still happen.”
