Marko Arnautovic Fires Warning Ahead Of The Arsenal Clash

West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic has made it clear they cannot repeat the mistakes of last season. The Hammers failed to open their points tally following consecutive losses against Liverpool and Bournemouth.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side will now travel to the other part of London to visit the Emirates Stadium where they are scheduled to take on Arsenal.

Arnautovic had a solid second half last season as he finished the league with 11 goals in his tally. This season too he is expected to be in the thick of things as the Hammers are eyeing a place in the top half of the Premier League table.

Pellegrini does have a pretty quality side at his disposal as he roped in a number of talented players with the likes of Felipe Anderson, Lucas Perez, Andriy Yarmolenko and Fabian Valbuena.

Arnautovic who has been given a more central role has warned his players prior to this important clash. “It’s going to be a difficult game.

“We didn’t start the season well, so hopefully we can start picking up points on Saturday.

“It’s important for us, for the players, for everybody and for our confidence if we can win, but it’s not easy to play at the Emirates, so we’re going to see what we can do.

“Against Bournemouth, we did a good job in the first half but I think it’s still not enough because we need to be more clinical. If we had been more clinical, we could have scored more goals.”
