Serbian midfielder has agreed to join Jurgen Klopp’s side

Red Star Belgrade midfielder Marko Grujic has agreed a five-year deal with Liverpool, according to reports.

The Serbian international has been on Liverpool‘s radar for the past few months, and although they’ve had a managerial change in the mean-time, they are still keen on landing Grujic in January.

Brendan Rodgers initially wanted to sign the youngster, but they failed to secure a deal over the summer, but have since moved further into negotiations with Red Star.

Deal On

Jurgen Klopp is still keen on securing the deal for the midfielder and it’s reportedly a done-deal with Grujic agreeing to a five-year deal.

Liverpool will pay Red Star ÂŁ5million to secure the deal, but will send the teenager back to the club for the remainder of the season.

The 18-year-old will undergo a medical later in the week.
