Marouane Fellaini has told his team-mates that he wants a move away from Manchester United, shortly after being spotted in Milan this weekend.

The 29-year-old has dropped down the pecking order in Jose Mourinho’s side in recent weeks, and looks set to move to the Serie A, with Italian giants AC Milan interested in signing the midfielder.

Fellaini has failed to perform to his capabilities since his arrival from Everton back in 2013, but has stuck at the Theatre of Dreams in a bid to regain his confidence until now.

His spell with the Red Devils is likely to be cut short, with reports emerging claiming that he has told his team-mates that he would like a transfer, according to The Times.

United boss Mourinho is looking to bolster the squad to suit his own managerial style, and has a number of other options in midfield that make Fellaini’s future at the club look miserable.

The San Siro is tipped to be his next destination, after spending the last couple of days in Milan.
