Defender has confirmed he is safe and well
Crystal Palace defender Martin Kelly has confirmed to the club that he is safe and well after being in the spot of the Paris Attacks last night.
The France capital was attacked by terrorist late last night, with reportedly seven separate shootings across the city, including two suicide bombings and an explosion, which happened just outside the Stade de France.
Footage of the France vs Germany friendly has been shown just when the explosion hits, and the noise is loud enough to overpower the fans inside the stadium.
The French president released a statement last night confirming it a state of emergency and immediately closed the borders to the country.

As of yet, it’s believed at least 140 are dead, but Palace defender Kelly has confirmed that he is safe and well.
The centre-back posted on Instagram an image of a restaurant in Paris which he was attending, and it’s believed it was one of the restaurants targeted by the attackers.
However, Kelly has got in touch with people over in England and has confirmed his safety.
