Mathieu Flamini admits he feels like he never left the North London Club.

Flamini played for Arsenal for four years before running down his contract and moving to Italian giants AC Milan on a free in 2008 and after re-uniting with former Arsenal team-mates and former manager Arsene Wenger he jumped at the chance of re-joining the club, making his return debut as a substitute in Sunday’s 1-0 derby victory over Spurs

In an interview with Arsenal.com Flamini said, ”I really have the sensation of being back home. Playing against Tottenham in a big derby, it was a great emotion, a great feeling.”

Flamini went on to say, ”I feel like I never left. There are players I played with before, and even staff, there are a lot of people still here that I knew before and the (relationship) with the fans was just amazing. I just want to thank everyone for the nice atmosphere on Sunday. It was great.”
