Darmian has fallen out of favor this season

Since joining Manchester United from Torino in the summer of 2015, Matteo Darmian has has failed to established himself as a regular starter for the team and this season he has fallen out of favor. Jose Mourinho prefers Antonio Valencia over the Italian.

Darmian has just started two games and came as a substitute three times for the club this season. The 28 year has only played one minute of Premier League football in 2018 and has been linked with a move away this summer as Mourinho is planning a mass exodus.

Matteo Darmian is close to joining Juventus from Manchester United in the summer, Tuttosport claims. According to reports, the Italian International is also willing to join them at the end of the season.

Darmian has been linked with Juventus for a long time and the club have heavily pursued the former Torino player recently. Juventus are in the market for a new right back as Stephan Lichtsteiner is 34 years now and want a new player to replace him. Allegri is keen to bring in an established right-back, who can play in the majority of the games in a season.

Though Darmian is not a first choice at United , he has remained a regular for Italy and could be an valuable addition for the Italian giants. Inter Milan, Napoli and Roma have also been keeping tabs on him.
