Matteo Guendouzi feels the togetherness amongst the Arsenal squad has helped them in building the long unbeaten run.
Unai Emery didn’t have the desired start to his Arsenal career as back to back losses at the hands of Manchester City and Chelsea looked to have dealt a massive blow to his ambitions.
But since then the Gunners have been on a roll managing their way through the ups and downs of the topsy turvy season. Emery took his time to instil his philosophy at the Emirates and as a result, the North London giants are currently on a 15 match unbeaten run.
Guendouzi burst into the first team setup this season and has already impressed with his skills in the middle of the park. The youngster arrived from FC Lorient this summer and has been a revelation for Arsenal.
Guendouzi said, “I’m very happy about my start.
“After that, the most important for me is the team, we’re on a good run of 15 or 16 games without a loss, which is something we need to continue on.
“We’ve drawn the last three games in the league, but we’re a very solid team, and I hope we can do great things.
“There’s a really good togetherness in the group, and that’s why we’ve made a good start to the season. It really is everyone together. There’s no specific groups, and it shows on the pitch.”
