Spurs boss adamant he’s not fussed by speculation

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has poured cold water over the speculation linking him with the Chelsea job after admitting he’s not fussed about the supposed interest.

Pochettino is believed to be one of many names on Roman Abramovich‘s managerial wishlist, but speaking today the Argentine admitted he’s not fussed by the speculation.

The former-Southampton manager has done a great job at White Hart Lane, selling several players and replacing them with his own, as well as making them competitive in the Premier League.

His job in North London has caught Abramovich‘s eye, and the Russian was keen on bringing him from the North to the West, but Pochettino is less than impressed with that idea.

Pochettino Dismisses Speculation

He said: “I don’t mind. The media is all about rumours but I don’t care about that.

“It’s the same with any rumours about players, there’s a lot of names in the media now.

“My focus is here, to try for success at Tottenham and to work hard. I always work for the present and the future.

“I’m very happy here. We’ve created after 18 months a very good group, with a strong basis for success in the future and I’m very happy.

“My job is to be focused, not to hear rumours. The most important thing is that I’m focused on my job.”
