Mauricio Pochettino has denied there is any truth to rumours Chelsea are in talks to sign Fernando Llorente.
The Blues are in a desperate hunt to find another striker with Michy Batshuayi waiting to complete a loan move away from Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte will block the departure of Batshuayi until Chelsea secure another goalscorer, but Pochettino has insisted Llorente will not be the replacement.
Llorente rejected a transfer to Chelsea last summer, but has found game time hard to come by at Tottenham as he has played second fiddle to Harry Kane.
He said: ‘That is another rumour. Fernando is our player. I don’t know anything about that. I cannot speak about rumours.
“He played the last game against Newport. He’s one player in the squad, like different players. He’s in our plans.”
Meanwhile, just some time back, Tottenham have had a loan offer rejected by Chelsea for Michy Batshuayi. The player does not want to move to Spurs.
